Construction Learning Fun 🚜

Count wheels, name vehicles, and build your math brain.

🔢 Wheel Counting

Count wheels on construction vehicles:

  • Point to a truck: "How many wheels? 1, 2, 3, 4!"
  • Draw circles on paper as wheels and count them
  • "This truck has 4 wheels. That truck has 6!"
  • Count the wheels on a real car through the window

🚗 Vehicle Names

Learn the names of big machines:

  • Bulldozer — pushes dirt
  • Digger (excavator) — digs holes
  • Dump truck — carries loads
  • Crane — lifts things high
  • Make the sounds: "Beep beep! Rumble rumble!"

🟡 Color Matching

Talk about construction colors:

  • "Most construction trucks are yellow or orange!"
  • "Safety cones are orange too"
  • Find yellow things around the room
  • Color all the trucks the same yellow

🏗️ Build & Stack

Practice building like a construction worker:

  • Stack blocks or cups as high as you can
  • Count each block as you add it
  • "How tall is your tower?"
  • Knock it down and build again!
