This Is Me! Self-Portrait 👧👦
Trace, decorate, and celebrate what makes you, you!
What you need
- Large paper or cardboard (big enough for your child)
- Crayons or markers
- Yarn or string (for hair)
- Child-safe scissors
- Glue stick
- Old magazines (optional, for collage)
Steps
1
Have your child lie down on the paper. Trace around their body with a crayon to make a big outline.
2
Let your child color in the face — draw eyes, nose, mouth, and ears. Name each part as they draw.
3
Glue yarn on the head for hair. Pick the color that matches your child's hair!
4
Draw or glue on clothes — use magazine cutouts or color with crayons.
5
Write your child's name at the top and their age. Hang it on the wall — "This is ME!"
